Thrivin brought Essence - the softest activewear we've ever made, a low compression, second-skin fabric built for Pilates, studio and everyday wear - to Los Angeles this month, and we did it the only way that made sense: by getting twenty wellness and lifestyle creators to stop moving fast for one evening. On a rooftop pool deck above LA, golden hour turned into a guided reset session, and a reset session turned into the best kind of proof: watching a room full of people feel, in real time, exactly what Essence was built to do.
A Launch Built Around Rest, Not Reps
Every activewear launch says its pieces "move with you." Essence had to prove it.
So instead of a presentation, guests got a movement session - gentle mobility, mindful stretching, breathwork, and sound healing, all under a fading LA sky. A soft, second-skin feel that kept up with a slow, deliberate hour of unwinding, then stayed comfortable long after the last breath cue.
Low compression. High impact.
It's easy to write "built for the way you move" on a product page. It's harder to hand it to women who've tried every legging on the market and let them put it through an hour of real movement. Essence held up to that test.
Step Into Your Essence
Before the movement session started, guests moved through what we called Embody: a wardrobe moment where each creator was dressed head-to-toe in Essence and given a beat to actually notice how it felt. Mirror set the tone before anyone said a word:

Sunset, Mocktails, and a Different Kind of After-Party
Once the sun dropped and the last stretch was held, the evening shifted into something closer to a proper social - custom wellness mocktails, passed bites, and curated poolside seating for the kind of conversations golden hour is made for. Nobody changed out of Essence to enjoy it.
That, more than anything, was the point of the evening. Essence isn't designed to be swapped out the moment a workout ends - it's designed for the stretch of the day that comes after it. Watching twenty creators wear the same soft, low compression activewear from a breathwork session straight into a rooftop social, without a single outfit change, was the clearest case study we could have asked for.
